• Base development tools supplied by lsbdev-base package

  • stub libraries
  • LSB header files

• lsbdev-cc and lsbdev-chroot installed on top of lsbdev-base

• lsbdev-c++ provides support for static linking of C++ applications which will be LSB compliant

  • Only needed for pre LSB 2.0
