VK-VHF -- Discussion list for amateur radio and related activities on bands 50MHz and above

About VK-VHF
English (USA)

The VK-VHF mailing list aims to serve the community of radio amateurs and others interested in the technologies and techniques of operating on the amateur bands from 50 MHz and up, with a particular focus on weak-signal/long-distance working and propagation.

General information about personal web pages is not usually appropriate, unless the web page/s may reasonably be considered a valuable information resource for list members, such as some moonbounce, propagation or equipment construction websites.

In the interests of good fellowship among subscribers, postings to the list should address the issues of a topic or discussion thread; while critical analysis and humour are often components of robust debate, personal attacks (flames) and snide remarks are not welcome. Practices such as trolling and spamming are also unwelcome.

This list is intended as a tool that provides for, and encourages, the prompt dissemination of information, discussion and commentary on topics encompassing all the issues pertaining to establishing and operating a VHF-UHF amateur station - home, portable or mobile.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the VK-VHF Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
