As a few people have asked about the original task, I've put up an archive of the linux.conf.au 2008 hackfest site.

I'll also put up a bit of a post-mortem for those who are interested in our suggested solution to the problem. This should be in the next week or so.

Congratulations to Anthony Towns and Jaymz Julian for taking the first and second place prizes (respectively), and thanks to the entrants, who did some great work in a limited amount of time!

The linux.conf.au team have announced that Bruce Schneier is presenting a keynote at next year's conference.

This could be the perfect opportunity for a Anton Blanchard vs. Bruce Schneier showdown. I'm thinking Hungry Hungry Hippos. Any other ideas?
