Brief rundown of our almost 6 week holiday:
21 Feb - 7 March - Cambridge / London / South England / ? Glasgow
7 March - 9 March - Helsinki
9 March - 13 March - Kakslauttanen (Far Northern Finland)
14 March - 25 March - Milan / Rome / Tuscany

Rusty is working for the 2 weeks in England, so I am planning to catch up with an old school friend, Kathryn, who has been living in London for the past 5 or so years. I'm looking forward to seeing London from a semi-local perspective. Also looking forward to seeing Kath after all this time. We both got married in Adelaide a week apart, but managed to just miss each other. I was flying out for my honeymoon the day she was arriving from London.

Was surprised to hear my blog is being aggregated by a geek website, as a counterpoint to Rusty's. Now I will have to be a little more careful what I write. I usually only write stuff for the benefit of friends and family. Mainly to keep everyone up to date.

Have talked briefly with my old boss. I am hoping to get a bit of research / project work that I can do from home. It would come in handy for later in the year when we are moving to the US for six months. I'd love to have a bit of work to do, as I really doubt I can spend six months being a tourist. My brain will turn to mush and I'll drive Rusty bananas! So, keeping my fingers crossed for some work to turn up.
