[K42-discussion] Makefile changes pushed yet again

Fixed a number of bugs in my last push; the pushed Makefile.new
should now be able to do a *full* kernel build after running 'make
clean' with the old build system. Note, though, that there are still
many things that it doesn't build - in particular it doesn't yet
rebuild the k42 shared library, libgcc.a, or any of the build tools
or user space tools outside of the servers. This means you still need
to do builds with the old build system to bootstrap. However, any
changes that don't mess up the shared libraries should be able to
build with Makefile.new instead of the old build system.
