[K42-discussion] process linux getfirst/next pid patch

We're finally back in business here (we can again run hardware
regress), so we're finally applying the pending patches.
We're sorry for the horrible delay.  We have been changing
configuration files related to hwtools for our other  projects, and
we neglected to test the impact of the changes in our infrastructure
to run k42. 

So .. Patch for process linux getfirst/next pid patch has been applied.
