I'm generating my patches against the git tree. I haven't tried building 
CVS head in quite a while, so some of the them might not be appropriate. 
I do think that the SysCallTable patch is pretty important though. C++ 
docs are pretty clear about not using "extern "C" static".

In addition it would be great if everybody could at least look through 
them though to verify that I'm not doing something foolish.
