  Yes, I see this always. 

  Also, since  the CVS authentication  method has changed  I see this  every cvs
update/checkout I do:

cvs server: warning: cannot write to history file /u/kitchawa/cvsroot/CVSROOT/history: Permission denied

  But both  errors seem to  be harmless (unless  you _do_ want  the dyn-up-tools
sources).  The kitchsrc, hwtools,  etc, is  checkouted just  fine, and  they are
enough to get K42 up and running.
